In 2027, there are even more ways to be part of the action at the Westbridge Funds RoadNats Perth.
For the first time, there are two options for those wanting to race or ride the RoadNats Perth Gran Fondo on January 10 with a long course and a short course on offer.
The long course (81.6km) is your race to chase a national title with six laps of the same course the elite riders race on.
While the short course (27.2km) is your chance to be part of the atmosphere surrounding Australia’s premier road cycling championships.
Which challenge is right for you?

Why you should do the RoadNats Perth Gran Fondo
No matter which course you choose, the RoadNats Perth Gran Fondo is one to tick off your bucket list.
It is not only a unique chance to ride in the heart of Perth's CBD on fully closed roads, it's also an opportunity to ride on the same course as the elite riders.
The 13.6-kilometre circuit starts and finishes in Perth's scenic King's Park and is a stunning backdrop for a morning to test your legs.
After the start gun, you'll wind through the park before you emerge at the Swan river. Take a breath and look up, to catch these spectacular views before you tackle the lung and leg busting William Street and Malcolm Street climb, which maxes out at a 12.3% gradient.
If you are doing the long course, you'll tackle the circuit six times (will you have anything left in the legs for the final summit), while the short course gets two laps around the circuit.
Whether you are gunning for the national title or there to take your time and soak it all in, this ride has something for every body.
