Hahn Ultra Zero Carb* becomes official beer of AusCycling Road National Championships
Dec 3, 2024
Hahn Ultra Zero Carb* will be the official beer of the AusCycling Road National Championships for the next three years, thanks to a partnership with beverage company Lion announced today.
Under the partnership, cycling fans will be able to enjoy Hahn Ultra Zero Carb* – whose tagline is ‘Zero Carb*. Great Taste. How Good.’ – while cheering on Australia’s elite cyclists in Perth this summer.
Hahn’s Official Club House venues in Northbridge will be the place for fans to meet while watching the criteriums on Friday, January 10. Those venues are:
- An Sibin
- Mustang Bar
- Johnny Foxes
- Sir Henrys
- Northbridge Brewing Co.
- Henry Summer
- Holey Moley
During the elite road races, spectators will be able to enjoy Lion’s range of beverages at the Hahn Bend Before the End – a pop-up bar atop the climb on Malcolm Street – and at Fraser’s Restaurant in Kings Park.
Kate Patterson, Executive General Manager of Commercial at AusCycling, said, “We are delighted that Hahn has come on board as the official beer partner of the AusCycling Road National Championships.
“Our partnership will elevate the fan experience at Road Nationals, helping to make the event a memorable celebration of Australian cycling this January, and in 2026 and 2027.”
Michael Galpin, WA Sponsorship & Events Leader for Lion – the company behind Hahn and other iconic Australian beers – said, “Hahn is extremely excited to partner the AusCycling Road National Championships here in Perth for the next three years.
“Our latest innovation, Hahn Ultra Zero Carb* is the official beer for the event. With no compromise on the malty beer taste, Hahn Ultra Zero Carb* is high in flavour, low in bitterness and easy drinking. It’s made for anyone who wants the rewarding taste of beer but doesn’t want to blow out on carbs and calories.”
The AusCycling Road National Championships is the pinnacle of the domestic road cycling season. The 2025 edition will run from January 8−12 in Perth.
