Ride the Road Nationals courses on FulGaz

Oct 17, 2024

A new host city means new race circuits, and Perth is serving up some exciting routes for the 2025 AusCycling Road National Championships.

As revealed earlier this year, the road races and Steadyrack Gran Fondo National Championships will be held on a spectacular circuit through Kings Park and Perth’s CBD. Time triallists, meanwhile, will tackle a loop that features step-like climbs around Bold Park.

Those lucky enough to live in Perth may be familiar with these roads, but for the rest of us, there’s homework to be done before tackling the event.

You can download GPS files and study maps all you want, but – short of riding the roads in person – the best way to get to know the routes is to ride them virtually.

Thanks to FulGaz, you can now experience Perth’s road race and time trial courses ahead of the big event.

Riding with FulGaz on your home trainer is the closest thing to tackling the courses in real life. The crisp 4K video combined with the FulGaz physics model will allow you to feel every rise and fall, including the punchy climb up Malcolm Street before turning into the finish in Kings Park.

So, head over to FulGaz to start training on the Road Nationals routes. Arm yourself with inside knowledge to give yourself the upper hand in January!
